Virgin Mobile USA Announces Lineup for 2012 Virgin Mobile FreeFest Presented by LG

The Largest Freefest music concert in oct at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md. Virgin Mobile USA with LG are teaming up to give free tickets starting, Aug 24 noon (edt) on ticketfly.com website. 

A big lineup: the lineup on the Main Stages includes Jack White, Skrillex, M83, NAS, ZZ Top, Santigold, Alabama Shakes, Ben Folds Five, The Dismemberment Plan, Allen Stone, Trampled by Turtles, Portugal. The Man, Das Racist, Future Islands and Justin Jones.

MetroPCS Launching the First Voice Over LTE

MetroPCS today reached another innovation milestone by announcing the world's first commercial launch of Voice over LTE (VoLTE) services, availability of the world's first VoLTE-capable handsets and the first sale of a VoLTE-capable handset at one of the company's Dallas/Fort Worth store locations. MetroPCS is selling the new VoLTE-capable LG Connect 4G Android™ smartphone at select U.S. stores and will continue to roll out VoLTE services and phones in the coming weeks.

The addition of VoLTE capabilities to MetroPCS' 4G LTE handsets will be transparent to consumers as they continue to enjoy all the voice and 4G LTE data services with which they are already familiar. Calls to and from the handset will use VoLTE, regardless of the handset or network used on the other end of the call.

Samsung Galaxy S2 is Coming to Tracfone and Net10

The S2 is finally coming to Net10 and Tracfone. Both carriers did not have a high end android smartphone. This was found in the new manual in the Samsung Galaxy S2 on Samsung support site. Their is no official announced maid yet from Net10 and Tracfone. This is going to help both companies compete in the industry. And Give customers more options in the prepaid world.
